Our schools are on the right track for our children's success; with an overall graduation rate of 95.7% in 2017 (up from 89% in 2011) and a considerable increase in the Hispanic population's graduation rate from 75.3% in 2011 to 93.6% in 2016! The combination of Dr. Leri’s influence paired with Measure U passing (thank you voters), our schools are improving from the inside out. Just check out the addition of the west wing of the high school across from our Dickson Realty office - look for the “big white package”.
Families move here because they love the outdoors, but now we can match that enthusiasm with top rankings in academics. If you are a client of ours, you are most likely a homeowner and part of the reason our schools are becoming what they are today through property taxes. Whether you have kids currently in school or not, we all know how powerful it is to have a vibrant youth and family community.
Please let us know if you ever want more information or an inside scoop on other reasons why we love raising kids in Truckee.
