EAT at an Evening at Stella on January 4th, 5th, 25th or 26th. Enjoy a pop-up dinner featuring five courses of delectable treats, like Fire Roasted Chorizo Stuffed Dates and Coconut Caramel Glazed Broiled Catfish. Stella is an interactive culinary dining affair where great meals are shared amongst family and friends. Stella believes, “this is dinner as it should be. LEARN how to ski or snowboard at Tahoe Donner January 7th - 11th and 14th - 17th. The team at Tahoe Donner is celebrating National Learn to Ski or Snowboard Month by offering $49 learn to ski or snowboard packages only for first timers, which includes an all-day lift ticket, rental equipment, and a 1.75-hour group lesson for ages 7 and up. LISTEN to Afro-pop singer-songwriter Okaidja on January 18th at the Community Art Center. Okaidja is from Ghana, West Africa and his unique artistic vision has led him to combine his native rhythms with unforeseen pairings of musical flavors. His sound is a spicy fusion of Ghanaian music with diverse cross-cultural influences. Although most of Okaidja's hypnotic arrangements are sung in his native language, the meaning shines through. His calling and life purpose is to bring us all together so that we can laugh and grieve and dance and forge forward together, in community. Learn more.

TOUR the beautiful trails of Tahoe under the full moon on January 19th with Sierra State Parks. State Park Interpreters will be leading Full Moon Snowshoe Tours exploring the natural and cultural history around the Hellman-Ehrman estate and Lake Tahoe shoreline in Sugar Pine Point State Park. Few experiences are as magical as snowshoeing by the light of a full moon along the snow-covered Tahoe shore! DISCO the night away with the whole family at Squaw Valley every Saturday for Disco Tubing. Disco tubing is the all new family-friendly party where you spin down the tubing lanes to music and lights. SnoVentures will be lit with colorful LED lights, lasers and a live DJ will be getting the party going from 5 - 8 pm.
